Reports To: Pastor of Congregational Care
Works Closely with: Care Ministry Associate & Care Administrative Assistant
Position Purpose: Grace Covenant church offers a 2-year educational, personal and ministry leadership development program designed for recent college graduate who want to explore vocational ministry and grow in ministry skills and wisdom. Residents will develop practical ministry skills, learn and grow their spiritual gifts, and initiate and practice healthy ministry habits.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work with the care ministry team to plan, organize and coordinate ministry events such as Celebrate Recovery, GriefShare, DivorceCare, Care Minister Training, Funerals and Memorial Services, and Leadership Development Meetings.
- Recruit and develop care leaders
- Manage and lead teams
- Host, teach and speak at ministry events
- Work alongside Care admin assistant with details and coordinating all events

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Possess a mature, growing faith as a disciple of Christ
- Articulate a call to full-time ministry
- Agree with and support the Doctrine Statement and Position Papers of Grace Covenant Church
